Come one, come all and help celebrate our 20th JellyCast episode. Rather than have one guest for the recording, we have decided to have an open mic for anyone who wants to be on air. The topic is Halloween related and we hope to get everyone in the haunting mood. We are asking all that arrive to contribute by telling a "scary story." Whether it's a "Date from Hell" a "Nightmare Client" or something along those lines. If you can't make it or you just don't want anyone to recognize your voice, email us your story and we'll read it over the air. Change any names or dates you like and email it to us here.

Besides having this Halloween inspired afternoon party, we are also hoping to get feedback on the space we will be hosting this event at. We have talked with the owner of the space and are considering it to be the home of Collective Giant.

So stop by for some free food and tell a story from your past. They'll be plenty of laughs and and it's our way of saying thank you for all your support with CLTJelly and Collective Giant.

OFFICE SPACE TOUR

The first location is NC Music Factory where there are actually three offices next to each other we would like to show you. Each has its own unique feel and layout, so your feedback is very important. (see photos and info below)

The second location is in South End at the Abbots where there is a great community in the area. Many design firms are already in South End and with Common Market and the Light Rail in close proximity, it needs to be considered as well. (see photos and info below)

Nathan and Josh will be on hand to answer questions and gather as much feedback as possible. If you know anyone who would be interested, please pass this information on to them. For questions or additional info, please contact us.

NC Music Factory Location
As a potential office space it has everything we could ask for – a large enclosed conference room, storage area, two private offices, huge open floor plan, and multiple separate bathrooms. The space also provides security, ample parking, and very easy access from the highway.

Another benefit of the space is the abilitiy to entertain clients onsite. Imagine having a meeting and then taking them out for a drink afterward. Or having them swing by and having lunch before a big meeting. Working late one night? It's possible to catch a concert at the amphitheatre for free. (For office space #3 that is. It backs up to the stage for a behind the scenes view.)

NC Music Factory Space 1
~1750 sq ft
This space has private offices, and a substantial meeting room.It's also located right next to the community bathrooms for easy access. It would be great for individual use but a little small on space when hosting meetups and events.

NC Music Factory Space 2
~1550 sq ft
This space is just the opposite as space 1. It has smaller private offices, but a large open area for coworking. It would be fantastic for hosting meetups and events.

2892 sq ft
The images below showcase the office space we are considering. There is an architetcure firm that was still a tenant when these photos were taken in April. The area is now empty.

Abotts in South End
~2100 sq ft
Located in South End and surrounded by other creative agencies, this space is close to the Light Rail, about 1/2 mile from Common Market. It has ample natural light, and the private offices are quite large. Private offices will also have glass on one side so as not to isolate anyone from the group, but still provide privacy. It also has an upstairs area for meetings and tons of parking for the after hours events. The space is currently being renovated and this would allow us to add input to the final layout.
